Philip grew accustomed to witnessing the jaw-dropping awe of travelers as they experience once in a lifetime moments, from the moment his career started 30 years ago. Whether navigating the skies, waterways or roads of France, Philip has spent all of his working life accompanying travelers as they experience the unique and unbelievable.

Son of a teacher and a master mariner, Philip grew up with his French-English parents in England and in Singapore. At that time travelling was simply a part of life. Eventually, he would make a first job out of guiding, before training to be a hotel barge captain and a commercial hot air balloon pilot, jobs which successfully paid his bills for nearly 30 years.

Philip drew on those 29 years of experience in unique and outstanding travel experiences to assemble all the necessary ingredients for a tour operating business specialized in curated, luxury travel in Provence, which he launched in 2011. Philip brings a lifetime of experience “off the beaten track” to his agency specialized in luxury travel services in the south of France.

Today, Philip calls Provence his home and this is where he and his French wife Emmanuelle chose to raise their children. Other talents include cooking, sailing, reading and trying to fly fish.
